MINK campers are compact, lightweight, minimalist teardrop campers designed to provide the fun of camping, without the uncomfortable bits that come with camping in a tent.

They’re easy to tow with the vast majority of modern cars (low maximum weight of just 750kg) and their aerodynamic design ensures a smooth, comfortable and frictionless towing experience – perfect for those who’ve never towed before, or had bad experiences in the past.

Crucially, MINK campers break the mould of the “boxy white caravan” – they have been meticulously designed, developed and engineered in Iceland to not only be functional and practical, but also stylish and unique too.`

MINK campers are designed to be minimalistic – but that doesn’t mean they’re lacking in features!

Instead, one of the core design concepts is reducing “feature bloat”, instead focusing on the essentials and ensuring they’re delivered to the highest standard.

As standard, all MINK campers include:

• Custom moulded, UV-protected ABS plastic shell (incredibly strong, but also lightweight) available in 4 distinct colour schemes.
• Galvanised steel AL-KO chassis (rust-proof)
• AL-KO brakes & shock absorbers and mechanical handbrake
• Spacious cabin with queen size bed, luxury mattress and Salvador upholstered backboard
• 1 x 230v socket, 4 x 12v USB sockets
• Large panoramic window above the bed, perfect for immersing yourself in your surroundings and stargazing
• 2 x side doors with opening windows
• LED mood lighting
• Full 12v and 230v electrical systems, plus a leisure battery (capacity varies between models)
• Rear kitchen with plenty of storage, 36L illuminated ice chest, 230v and 12v sockets, portable gas stove and more
• Lots of scope for upgrading & customising the specification to suit your needs

Alternatively, if you’re ready to “pull the trigger”, you can order online via our website shop, customise your MINK specification by adding accessories, and pay a deposit online to secure your order. We’ll then contact you to confirm your order, arrange a handover date and raise an invoice for the remaining balance.

Absolutely – ease of towing is one of the core concepts of MINK campers.

They’re exceptionally lightweight (around 520kg factory-standard spec, 750kg max weight) and so can be towed by the vast majority of modern cars and EVs (and we’ve even got a few owners who tow with trikes).

Their aerodynamic design reduces wind resistance and drag, and the large wheels, positioned on the outside of the body, anchor the MINK to the road and prevent snaking/wobbling.

If you’re new to towing or have had bad experiences with towing other campers/caravans/trailers in the past, we’re certain you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how easy a MINK camper is to tow.

MINK campers have 2 berths – meaning they sleep 2 people.

There’s no clunky camper van/caravan style bed with foam seat cushions making up the mattress – MINK campers feature a large queen size bed with a proper luxury mattress and upholstered Salvador backrest, so you’re guaranteed to get as good a sleep as you do at home – if not better!

Yes! While most leisure vehicle dealers expect you to take a “leap of faith” and buy based on online research, reviews and short in-person viewings, we actively encourage our customs to take a MINK camper for a proper test run of 3 nights or more, so that you can buy sound in the knowledge that they’ll meet your needs and work for you.

MINK campers are available for hire from our Stratford-upon-Avon branch.

We’re often asked “can MINK campers be used in the winter?” and the answer is yes – with a heating system and 20mm of high-thermal insulation, MINK campers can be kept warm and cosy even during winter nights.

Of course, you’ll need be be willing and prepared to brave the cold during setup, on your trips to and from the facilities and when heading out for the day, but that’s true of camper vans, motorhomes and caravans!

There are 4 distinct models of MINK camper, each designed to offer a slightly different experience and cater to different priorities/needs.

MINK-S

The MINK-S is a solid “all-rounder”, catering for both on and off grid usage. If you prefer pitching up at a fully serviced campsite, just plug it in and relax – if you like to venture off the beaten path every so often, the diesel heating system, 70Ah AGM battery and 105W solar panel will come in handy.

MINK-E

The MINK-E is all-electric, designed for usage exclusively on campsites with fully serviced pitches. In the modern-day UK it’s getting harder to find true “off grid” experiences, so why swim against the current?

Just plug in, kick back and relax.

MINK-X

If you’re a fan of off-roading and off grid stays, this is the MINK for you. The MINK-X has larger wheels, reinforced suspension and extended off-grid capability, making it the intrepid explorer’s camper of choice.

MINK-Z

All-new for 2026, the MINK-Z offers a more accessible route into MINK ownership, with a lower starting price and basic specification (as well as a brand new light grey trim colour). The same MINK quality and craftsmanship are still there, plus there’s plenty of scope to customise the specification to your needs with our range of accessory options.
